Tuning tips from a pro.

Driving these old cars and bikes takes a lot of maintenance. Here are a few tips. #1 Torque grips to 45lbs. #2 Never physically touch a dipstick it gives the wrong impression. #3 The human lungs blow a consistent 36 p.s.i. No need for a air compressor.
Thanks for the photos! P.M.S

Is it best to use the 14" pipe wrench or the 17" when gapping your spokes?

Only the 17". Or you could get arthritis.

My lungs only blow at 33psi, will this be effective, or do I need to get someone else? What altitude did you try this at?

Wrecked Metals said...

Boise has an elevation of 2700 feet. That could be a factor.

Thanks for the heads up. I did notice my elbows feeling a bit sore, I just didn't know why.

Do these same tips apply to bicycles as well? You seem like a wheelie cool guy.
